Drawing on SMRT’s decades of hands-on experience in engineering, operations, maintenance, and asset management, we apply advanced data analytics, AI, and automation to make railway systems safer, more efficient, and more resilient.

Our credentials span the full rail lifecycle. We have delivered one of the world’s largest network modernisation programmes, renewing six core systems across Singapore’s oldest lines without a single shutdown to passenger service. As one of the world’s first operators of GoA4 driverless metro lines, we have developed and delivered greenfield automated networks, managed phased extensions, and transitioned between signalling technologies on operational networks.

Through brownfield facility transformation, we have reimagined heavy maintenance operations from the ground up, halving overhaul time and doubling annual capacity through automation, AI, and digital control, without expanding or taking the facility offline. And through a systems approach to sustained reliability, we have driven ten-fold improvements in network performance across all three MRT lines we operate.

Beyond Singapore, we work with rail operators and OEMs to bring these capabilities to networks around the world, where the same standards, rigour, and results apply.
